This Privacy Policy explains what information Djangoloper collects when you use our website, customer panel, and services, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or submitting a project request, you agree to this policy.
Who we are
Djangoloper is a software studio, based in the Netherlands. For the purposes of the GDPR, we are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy at info@djangoloper.com.
Information we collect
- Account & profile data: your name, email, phone, company, and billing or tax details you add to your profile.
- Project data: the requests, briefs, files, messages, proposals, and contracts you create or upload while working with us.
- Payment data: billing records and invoice status. Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider (such as Stripe); we never receive or store your full card number.
- Security data: information used to keep your account safe, such as two-factor authentication settings and the IP address recorded at sign-up, sign-in, and contract signing.
- Usage & cookies: basic logs and essential cookies needed to operate the service, plus any optional analytics you consent to.
How we use your information
- To deliver your projects and operate your customer panel.
- To prepare proposals, contracts, and invoices, and to process payments.
- To send service messages and the notifications you have opted into.
- To keep accounts, files, and payments secure and to prevent abuse.
- To meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your project content for advertising.
Legal bases
Where data-protection law such as the GDPR applies, we process data to perform our contract with you, with your consent (for optional cookies and marketing), to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in running and securing the service.
Sharing & service providers
We share data only with the providers needed to run the service, under appropriate safeguards:
- Stripe: payment processing and invoicing.
- Email delivery: to send transactional notifications.
- Hosting & infrastructure: secured cloud servers that store your data.
- AI assistance tools: used internally to help draft and analyze project documents; we limit what is shared and do not use them to make automated decisions about you.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
International transfers
We work remotely and our providers may process data in other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Data retention
We keep account and project data for as long as your account is active and as needed to deliver services, then for the period required to meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations. You can request deletion at any time, subject to those obligations.
Security
Data is stored on secured infrastructure with encrypted secrets, access controls, and audit logging. Files are access-controlled so only you and authorized team members can reach them. Optional two-factor authentication adds a further layer to your account.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. Update your profile and notification preferences from Settings in your panel, or email us to exercise any right. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the site. Any non-essential cookies are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time.
Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date shown on this page.
