Frequently asked questions
Practical answers before we scope your project.
What technologies do you work with?
Primarily Django and Django REST Framework on the backend, React and Next.js on the web, and React Native / Expo for mobile, with Docker-based DevOps, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Celery for background jobs.
How does a project start?
You submit a project request describing your idea. We have a free intro call, then we send a written proposal with scope, timeline, and pricing. Work begins once you accept the proposal and the contract is signed.
How is pricing handled?
Each project is scoped individually. Proposals list fixed deliverables and a payment plan; you only proceed once you accept. There are no hidden fees, and any out-of-scope work is quoted separately before it starts.
Can you take over an existing project?
Yes. We regularly pick up existing Django/React/Expo codebases for new features, bug fixes, refactoring, or deployment. We start with a short review of the current code so the proposal reflects the real state of the project.
How long does a typical project take?
Most projects run between 2 and 12 weeks depending on scope. A small MVP or a backend API can land in a couple of weeks, while a full SaaS product with billing, dashboards, and mobile takes longer. Your proposal includes a milestone timeline.
Do you offer backend-only or API-only work?
Yes. We take on standalone Django/DRF backends, REST APIs, integrations, and admin tooling without a frontend. You receive documented endpoints and an OpenAPI schema so your own team or app can integrate cleanly.
Can you publish my app to the App Store and Google Play?
Yes. Mobile projects include release builds and store-submission support for both the Apple App Store and Google Play, covering build configuration, store metadata, and the review process. You keep ownership of the developer accounts.
Do I get the source code?
Yes. On full payment, ownership of the delivered source code transfers to you, and you receive the repository and handover notes. Third-party libraries remain under their own open-source or commercial licenses.
How many revisions are included?
Each proposal states the revision rounds included for its deliverables. Feedback within the agreed scope is part of the work; larger changes or new ideas are handled as add-ons or a follow-up proposal so the timeline stays predictable.
