Bills, letters, and documents pile up, and most scanner apps push your files to a cloud account just to make them searchable.
What we built
Paperlessy scans documents into multi-page PDFs and indexes every word with on-device text recognition, so search works without an account or a server. It tracks due dates and payment amounts, sends reminders three days and one day ahead, and sorts everything into categories. Files stay in the device's private sandbox, with optional iCloud or Google Drive backup under the user's control.

Outcome
Paperlessy was built around a simple principle: digitizing your mailbox should not require handing your documents to anyone. Recognition and storage are local first, with backup as a choice rather than a requirement.
