The challenge
Caring for a newborn means tracking feeds, sleep, diapers, medicine, and appointments across more than one caregiver, usually in notes apps and memory that do not sync. Parents, grandparents, and sitters end up out of step on what already happened.
What we built
We built a shared baby care tracker on React Native and Expo with a Django backend, so every caregiver logs to the same real-time timeline. It covers breastfeeding, bottles, pumping, sleep, diapers, solids, medicine, symptoms, and growth, with reminders for routines, medicine, vaccines, and appointments, plus handoff notes for the next person on shift.

Outcome
Kinly started from a real need: coordinating newborn care across a family without anyone losing track. We designed it for sleep-deprived moments, quick to log and easy to read, and private by design.
